Developing Design Consortia from its inception, Sumit’s efforts over the two decades have led to DC’s organic growth to a team of over 50 today with project types spanning from interior styling to architectural design and master planning. As a result, DC’s portfolio today boasts of elegant projects ranging from luxury villas to educational institutions, boutique hotels, and signature commercial spaces.

With a client-centric focus, Sumit has led growth at Design Consortia over the last two decades by applying his strategic spatial vision across various projects and scales.At its core, Sumit’s design style integrates function with flair, a testament to his understanding of architecture and its fundamental relationship with the people that it serves.

A regular world traveller, Sumit participates in global design events that impact his design consciousness and make his buildings stand apart in the milieu. As an alumnus of the Sushant School of Art and Architecture,Gurgaon New Delhi, Sumit believes that every building worldwide communicates impactful stories wrapped in artful narratives for the architectural community to be inspired by.

Priyanka Malik is a Partner and Principal at Design Consortia, Designs take shape at DC due to the team’s relentless efforts on uncompromising quality during every opportunity.
Augmenting the intellectual and poetic notes of DC’s elegant designs, Priyanka brings her combined academic and professional expertise to spearhead design strategy and concept development to projects at Design Consortia. With a keen interest in actualising the potential of her process-driven efforts, Priyanka applies her acute problem-solving skills from design inception through process development all the way to final execution.
Priyanka earned her Bachelor in Architecture from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon and her masters in Industrial Design at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Over the years, Priyanka has pursued her academic inclinations with her professional pursuits through her capacity as an educational advisor with several consultancies.Across India, Priyanka invites and promotes young talent through design thinking workshops that addresses all spheres of spatial and industrial design comprehensively. Priyanka has also held active roles as a part-time faculty member at VastuKala Academy, SPA Delhi and Sushant School of Art and Architecture in New Delhi.

Rohhit Garg is a Co-Founding Principal at Design Consortia, Born and raised in Jaipur, Rohhit’s design inclinations are subconsciously influenced by his exposure to traditional construction techniques across materials prevalent in the culturally rich city. As a result, Rohhit’s projects are subtly influenced by his knowledge of how people experience and interact with pivotal design nuances in their everyday lives. Driven by modern-day technology and innovation, Rohhit’s design influences bring a fresh quotient of Indianness to the contemporary designs of DC through craftsmanship and other intrinsic values that drive the personality of a space.
By applying himself through his strengths, Rohhit believes that he has had the privilege and opportunity to understand how people interact with spaces through his project experience across scales. His cultural influences were further amplified through his learnings at his Bachelor of Architecture at Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur. Further, Rohhit has had the opportunity to hone his product – knowledge during his Master’s in Industrial Design at the School of Planning and Architecture at SPA Delhi.
